On June 17, at the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the results of the National Rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were announced. The Kaluga region improved its position by 1 point and moved up to 7th place.
Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha noted: “For the Kaluga Region, the rating, like all the work of the ASI team, has become an important tool for introducing qualitative changes in the business climate, improving approaches and methods of work.”
The rating assesses the efforts of regional authorities to create favorable conditions for doing business. The analysis was carried out in terms of indicators demonstrating the quality of public services, the investment environment, the level of infrastructure preparation, and support measures. The rating is formed by polling the expert and business community, as well as using statistical data.
Reference:
The National Rating is a joint project of four business associations (RSPP, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Delovaya Rossiya and OPORA Rossii) and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The rating allows to identify the best practices and promotes their dissemination in other regions. The best practices of the rating are the basis of the continuous educational program for regional management teams, developed by the ASI together with the RANEPA.
