On March 27, at the Kaluga PSMA Rus plant, the Automotive Technologies company launched serial assembly of Citroen C5 Aircross crossovers. The cars will arrive to official Citroen dealers in May 2024, reservations are available from April.

Automotive Technologies LLC is a Russian independent company engaged in the wholesale supply and distribution of automobiles, spare parts and components, motor oils and technical fluids. Since December 2023, with the assistance of the governor and the Government of Kaluga Region, the company has expanded its business and launched pre-production of medium-sized crossovers in Russia at the PSMA Rus plant in the Rosva Industrial Park. The production went through all stages of debugging the equipment, and the assembled pilot batch was tested for compliance with quality standards.

Deputy Governor of Kaluga Region Vladimir Popov noted:"Our automotive industry has 33 enterprises — three manufacturers and 30 suppliers. Not all of them have been restarted yet, but most of them are already working in good mode due to the fact that during the downtime of our three main automakers, we managed to cooperate suppliers with other companies in due time. Today, a good window of opportunity has opened for supplies, including to this enterprise."
Governor Vladislav Shapsha stressed that the tasks of restarting the Kaluga autocluster are being consistently solved: "We are working hard with the Russian Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and new investors to implement all plans. And this applies not only to the three giants of our automotive industry, but also to component manufacturers. There are many orders from the Russian automotive industry."
Production of the Citroen C5 Aircross in Kaluga Region takes place using the SKD-4 method from 800 groups of components and 1,700 parts. The Russian assembly complies with international quality standards. At all stages, there are quality control posts, where mechanics, electrics, geometry, water resistance, and noise insulation are carefully checked, and at the end, dynamic tests are conducted on a large track.

The warranty for the car will be 3 years or 100,000 km.
A roadside assistance and mobility program is provided for Citroen customers, which operates within a radius of 150 km from the borders of the city which has an official center of the CITROEN dealer network (200 km from the MKAD for Moscow/ Ring Road for St. Petersburg)
