Kaluga Region will sign agreements worth about 70 billion rubles at SPIEF-2022

On June 15-18, a delegation from the Kaluga region, headed by Governor Vladislav Shapsha, will take part in the anniversary XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. SPIEF is a unique event in the world of economics and business. It has been held since 1997, since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.

The SPIEF 2022 business program includes more than a hundred events on four thematic tracks dedicated to the development of the global and Russian economy, social and technological issues. The main topic of the Forum is "New World - New Opportunities".

The delegation of the Kaluga region participates in key meetings and thematic sessions. He will discuss topical issues with federal ministers, heads of development institutions and a number of Russian regions. A number of meetings are planned, each of which is of great importance for the further development of the region: with the companies Hyatt, Rostelecom, Dom RF, Electric Vehicles Manufacturing Rus, LafargeHolsim, etc., with the leadership of the US Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the delegation of Egypt .

The main expectation from SPIEF-22 is the signing of new agreements. The plans for this year include 11 investment agreements worth about 70 billion rubles. The list of new investment partners includes 10 Russian companies and one company with the participation of Singaporean capital - PHARM AID LTD, which is implementing a project to build a biotechnological plant in the Kaluga region.

In addition, it is planned to sign contracts on the principles of PPP, as well as a number of agreements in IT, logistics and other areas.
