On June 7, a modern enterprise La Lorraine Russia was initiated to produce bakery products in the territory of the K-Agro Industrial Park (Kaluga region). The ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha, Ambassador of Belgium to Russia Marc Michielsen, General Director of La Lorraine Bakery Group Guido Vanherpe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of La Lorraine Russia Johan Vanderplaetse, and General Director of La Lorraine Russia Anton Pershin.
La Lorraine Russia is a subsidiary of La Lorraine Bakery Group, one of the largest bakery companies in Europe. La Lorraine Bakery Group is a Belgian family-owned bakery company operating at 12 modern production sites in Belgium, Poland, Turkey, Romania, Czech Republic, and in Russia in the near future. High quality bakery goods are supplied to customers in over 50 countries, while serving local sales organizations are located in 30 countries.
Investments amount to 4 billion rubles. Up to 300 positions will be created. At the first stage, the enterprise will produce about 50 thousand tons of high-quality bakery products per year.
