Assembly of Machine Kits has Begun in India on the Basis of the Developments of the Kaluga STM Enterprises
Technical specialists of the Kalugaputmash plant (part of the Sinara-Transport Machines (STM) Holding) arrived in the Republic of India to start the assembly of RTM-32 machine kits. Together with other employees of the private label, the employees of the enterprise will oversee the commissioning after the equipment is manufactured. SKD is assembled within the Make in India state program, which implies at least 51 % localization of production in the Indian territory.
On the basis of Russian machine kits, track renewal trains will be created to be used in constructing, repairing and maintaining the railway line. The track renewal trains can also be used to work with wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers. The kits are assembled at the production sites of San Engineering & Locomotives Co. Ltd, which is located in Bangalore and is a STM partner in this project.
