On December 12, 2012 (at 19:00) Kaluga House of Music will host some passionate guitar players. The audience will enjoy Ivan Smironov's music both in the original form and in the interpretation of Tono Alcalde, one of progressive flamenco performers.

Ivan Smirnov's trio consists of Ivan Smirnov (acoustic guitar), Ivan Smirnov Jr. (acoustic guitar), and Tono Alcalde (Spanish guitar player).

Ivan Smirnov is one of the best Russian guitar players, who created a unique approach in the Russian guitar music. Unbelievably deep and original,  full of energy, tender and passionate,  Ivan Smirnov's music taps on the traditional Russian folk music, Celtic music, flamenco and rock.  His concerts always attract crowds of music lovers who appreciate virtuoso performance and creativity.

Tono Alcalde is a prominent Spanish guitar player, singer,  percussionist, arranger, and Lírica Carmen Quintana (Madrid) musician. He played at a great number of music festivals, including with such prominent musicians as Luis Ortega, Paco Aguilera, etc. In Russia he is also known for his participation in  Zorro musical.
