Kaluga Electromechanical Plant increased production of synchronous motors by 62%

In 2023, Kaluga Electromechanical Plant (Roselectronics Holding, Rostec State Corporation) increased the production of synchronous machines by more than 60% compared to last year. The devices are completely Russian-developed. Their productivity, energy efficiency class and weight-size parameters are higher than those of asynchronous motors.
Devices manufactured by KEMZ are used in machine tool building, automotive engineering, as well as gas and oil production, transport, elevator construction and unmanned systems industries.

By the end of 2023, the production volume exceeded 18 thousand units.
"Today, KEMZ, like many Russian enterprises, is increasing production volumes at an accelerated pace. This contributes to solving the problems of import substitution and stable development of all sectors of the country's economy. In 2023, we manufactured products worth more than 6 billion rubles. This was achieved particularly by expanding the production of synchronous motors. This year, in addition to further production volume increase, we plan to start producing the first large series of the latest software and hardware complexes Pelena and Palantir," — Evgeny Zolotnitsky, General Director of KEMZ JSC, said.
The Pelena complex allows you to create an automatic intelligent control system for equipment and engineering systems of infrastructure facilities. The Palantir complex is designed for monitoring and forecasting the environmental situation at urban and industrial facilities. It allows you to significantly reduce the response time to extreme environmental events and strengthen control over potential sources of pollution emissions into the atmosphere.
